Opposite Footsies

When my sister arrived last week, we had a free afternoon with just the older girl cousins. I had yet to have my one pedicure of summer, so we all trucked down to have our toes done. You should have seen these two giggle when the massage chair got the "kneading" setting!

It looked like they were being alternately punched in the back....we finally had to have the chairs turned off because the girls couldn't contain themselves (and some people apparently like to read People magazine in peace and quiet when they are having their toes painted!).

Look what happened!

D and I didn't even wear our Birkenstocks to the salon, but a couple of days later when we were both wearing them, she went "Mom, look at our feet!!". Hilarious.

It's stinkin' hot here, but I managed some sewing yesterday. D's friend is having an Eclipse-viewing birthday party this afternoon, so I whipped up this little wallet that is my current kid-gift-stand-by (it's a Valori Wells sewing card pattern).

It's easy to tuck a little cash or a gift card inside so the birthday girl can chose something she likes.

I think T & I will crash the party tonight and sneak into the back of the air-conditioned theatre. We've read and loved the books, so we have to see the movie, too! I hear it's the best one so far, but I think Stephanie Meyer's fans are so devoted they would say that even if the movie was a flop....have you seen it? What did you think?
