Smack Friday

Yup. Fabric is my drug. No matter how long I lecture myself on the need to show restraint and just use what I have already, I am powerless against the DEAL. And I know that you are, too. Which is why I'm giving you the opportunity to forego lining up at the ungodly hour of 5:00 a.m. this Friday morning, and instead shop in your jammies with a latte in your hand (like I just did. It's noon and I'm not afraid to admit it).

My sweet friend Tammy has some killer goods listed in her specials section at big discounts. I may have picked up some yardage of this for some zippy pouch action:

RSR transistors cotton/linen blend perfect for bags & pouches - yum!

and these for stash building:

Joel Dewberry's Aviary 2 wood grain in vintage yellow and dill. Sublime. Sorry, I cleaned Tammy out of the brown woodgrain.

But don't worry, I left some of this for you:

Smack Friday pricing all 'round. Have fun!

I know exactly what you mean - but must confess that I've been pretty good this year on the 'fabric diet' and only bought fabric for finishing up project (well that is if you don't count the white cotton bought for dyeing)
Some delicious fabric here in your selection though

whew! good thing I had already purchased some brown woodgrain from her. Now if I could only find it in pink!

damn you Krista!

i don't care that you snagged the brown woodgrain, so la-di-da. i agree with live a colorful life, WHY won't they re-release it in bright colours!?! i'm hoarding my pink woodgrain obsessively, and if they printed it in blue or bright green, i would be incredibly happy.

also, Marmalade has HABITAT! i didn't buy any, but i'm seriously contemplating it, maybe for binding. i'm excited about my Habitat project, it better turn out as well as i'm imagining!

plus, Kalin's dying to make a dress out of purple dropcloth, but didn't think she'd be able to find yardage. it's funny, because as soon as i saw that fabric, i thought "that would be the perfect dress for kalin". i'm totally sending her a link.
