Oh, shoot!

I'm such a door knob. And Hadley was ever so kind to point it out to me (what are friends for, right?). I typically only read my own blog in preview mode. In preview mode, none of the live links are active, so I didn't realize that when you hover your mouse over a photo from flickr the photo title shows up, thereby revealing the identity of the mystery PVC pipe apparatus! And I thought all of you were so clever knowing what a marshmellow shooter was, hehe. That'll teach me for having a quiz with the answer in plain view! I think the whole thing is hilarious anyway.

So, Kelsey was right straight out of the gate and for her correct identification of the marshmellow shooters her stash will grow by one green fat quarter! And no, we didn't buy one, nor did I actually see one in action. Next time for sure.

It's a stunning sunny Saturday here. I hope yours is, too!  I'll be binding a commission baby quilt that has turned out beautifully with the fabrics chosen by the mom-to-be. With her permission, I'll show you soon.

I would love one of those, and then I would train the kids to aim at my mouth :-D

My husband made these with his cub scout group--the kids loved them.

What, you passed up the free bag or marshmallows? What about 'smores?!

Too funny! When I clicked on the photo, it told me it was private and I wasn't allowed to see it in Flickr. What's up with that? I didn't have a clue that they were marshmallow shooters. lol Good thing I didn't guess.

Guess I am a door knob too as I didn't know that. Now I am educated.

Yeh, I thought that was funny when she said she just hovered over the photo. I had never hear of those things and still don't know what they do.

We have two of these in our closet. Not painted like these--these are much cuter. Ours are just plain white PVC. And the marshmallows by now are like rocks!

We've had several marshmallow shooters over the years. You should have bought one. They are fun. Make sure that your marshmallows are NOT fresh. A bit dried is best. Our dogs loved to chase them down and could eat the crusty marshmallows, but, not the fresh one, since they can get stuck in their throats.
