Newsflash: Summer Missing from Pacific Northwest!

BC Summer So Cold Trees Turn Blue

The trees have turned blue for Heaven's sake! 'Nuff said.

We're heading south to Oregon in search of a few degrees. Not holding out hope for sun. The weather forecasters are wearing rose-coloured glasses these days. I think they are tired of the hate mail.

I know there are plenty of you just dreaming of a day around 65F or 20C.
Come to Vancouver. We can set you up.

I hope you find a "few degrees" Krista! And if you do, could you bring them back with you? Have fun!

Have fun finding your heat Krista, be sure not to get turned around and end up going north, we were at 14C today, yesterday it was cooler and raining. Box up some of that sunshine if you can find it for me ok? Take care!

I certainly would trade you if I could... Minnesota all summer has been feeling just like it did when we lived in Houston. Enjoy your travels!

I hope you find some warmth! We're headed down there in a couple of weeks too. Maybe by then it'll be nice...? Enjoy yourselves no matter the weather!

We're going to Seattle for a few days from Portland. We've had great weather this past week I hope it holds out for you. Where will you be visiting?

I hope you find your heat. It was warm in Oregon two weeks ago when we were there!

Thanks for the chuckles about the blue trees!

That tree is the same colour as my legs!
Who has stolen the summer? I want back too!

I hope you find some sun - we're off in search of the same shortly too so we can swap pics of our bare legs - OK that sounds pervy but my first pic of the holidays is always my feet on the sun lounger facing the pool - the second usually involves a glass of wine I'm sorry to say. I'll email you my first two pics of last year's holiday to show you what I mean!

I'd love to switch places with you! We've been having weather in the 90's for a few weeks...and I HATE summer! Temps in the 50's and 60's are my favorite (fall year round would be heaven). Plus, I've been to Vancouver once and think it's beautiful there! Hope you find some warm weather though.

We are with you here in So. CA. We had an even colder summer last year so I have sympathy for you. I hope you find your heat.

We sure have summer here in Ontario with a week of over 35 degrees with humidex, today it is finally raining. The farmers have been praying for this because it has been 10 days without rain. I guess we are never really happy. Blessings and may you find some heat.

Where in Oregon? I live in Portland and it's supposed to be in the high 70's today! Are you coming to Sock Summit? It's this weekend at the Convention Center and has a market place!
Have a good time whatever you do!
