Had no idea this was called a Dogwood tree/plant? Our neighbours have one that’s blooming white and hangs over in our garden. They always trim the plant to function as a hedge on their side, but on our side we always let the branches grow.
Another beautiful photo Krista. The colours almost don't look real and the detail in the centre of the flower is most interesting...well done you clever thing!
Love the shape and simplicity of those dogwood flowers. You're so lucky to be able to grow the Japanese variety. I wonder if it would grow here? ... Gotta check that out...
Found you through http://www.quiltershomemag.com/content_downloads/WEBposse.pdf looks like you have some fun projects, so now I am following you too :) beautiful flower!

girgeous! I'm glad someone is happy with this damp weather we've been having - almost makes it tolerable!
Beautiful! We have dogwood with white flowers that grows wild here. The blooms are small though (around 1-2" in diameter). How big are these flowers?

Weather is SO weird this year. We should be having consistent temps of 100+. Today we had rain!! But it's supposed to be 105 by July 4th. :(
Beautiful!!! Hoping for some sun for you soon!!!
I love that flower on your dogwood! Beautiful color! Mine is a Kousa Dogwood and they flowers are just white... now I wish they were pink.
