This flower...is probably my MOST favorite color! Okay...now, I'm seein'/dreamin' fabric in the colors of this photo... the shades of blue deep greens and the purple/blues...aaaah...
My grandmother used to have these in her garden and while they are beautiful they smell like onions! I told her that and she said no but when she looked them up they are in the onion family. They are like oversized chive blossoms!! Beautiful photo.

Beautiful Krista! Mine got pounded into the ground by hail, so it's great to see a bloom!
I haven't had success with Alliums in my yard but I love them it's gorgeous. Great Hipstamatic photo as well.
That is gorgeous! I love the highlighting around it, it looks like it is bursting with goodvibes ;)

Hi Anonymous - the hipstamatic is an application for the iPhone that allows you to take tinted photos to mimic old fashioned bulb flash pictures.

such glorious colour!
Thanks for learning me about Hipstamatic pictures! This one looks absolutely great!
I remember the old fashioned bulb flash pictures. Changing the melted bulb after you took a picture. I give away my age now, don’t I??
I love alium! My husband killed mine though, mistaking it for a weed. #!#!#!#
