Got any extra boobs?

Because Nina-Lise is collecting them.

Read about her incredibly inspiring project here, then get busy and make some boobs! Have a boob party with your stitch group! Plan a boob-a-thon with your guild! I'm going to ask my Kickin' Cancer with Creativity team to come over and make boobs with me (right after we recover from our massive fund raising auction/crafter's market benefit next Thursday night!).

I love boobs and it makes me sad that so many women have lost, and will lose, them to cancer.

Please friends, check your boobs. Better yet, have a handsome man or Mammography technician do it for you (bonus points if your mammography tech is a handsome man).

Whoa - have just checked it out and they are cool. Is this something that is worldwide or do they get sent over to Nina-Lise? (Probs if I re-read rather than skim I would discover that myself!!!!). A neat and meaningful project for a great group of quilty friends to spend an afternoon doing. Ciao

OooooOOoo I know a handsome man who will think this is the greatest idea that I ever saw on a crafty blog. At the quilt festival they had a whole (no photography allowed) section of art bras. Which is just what it sounds like. Handmade bras bedecked with feathers and beads and roses, the texas flag, and even a mermaid to bring attention to breast cancer. I've got to see if I can find some pics online somewhere...

My doctor is actually not in the town I live in, but our local hospital does mammogram parties included manicures & munchies!

I am doing this one also. My sweet mother-in-law had a double mastectomy and for the past few years I've been participating in various projects related to breast cancer.
