You can read all about the inspiration for this cow series here, but I can tell you it originated with a quote by Phoebe (or was it Joey?) on the TV series Friends. She kindly sent me Moo Point V. Nina-Lise often works in a series which is a great way to perfect techniques and challenge yourself to try new things. If you've never visited her blog, please treat yourself soon! There is no shortage of inspiration there. You'll find clearly written and photographed tutorials, fun and unique quilts, new and exciting techniques for writing on quilts and lots of good humour.
Thank you for sharing your work with me Nina-Lise - you are a great friend. I love my Moo Point!!
Speaking of great friends, another blogging pal of mine Carol of mamacjt recently made my day, too. I bought a copy of her fabulous Christmas tree skirt pattern and was whinging about not being able to find any clear reds and greens locally. So, what did she do? She sent me some strips right from her stash! How nice is that?!
AND a brand new mag that was not yet on newstands in Canada. It's gorgeous!
I have such lovely friends. Thank you!!!

Isn't Joey the one who talks about a Moo point being a cows opinion? Not that it matters, cute and funny either way!
I saw the Moo Point in progress and absolutely loved it.
The reds and greens will be beautiful in your project.
Very cute! It looks like a very fun magazine, too!
You have the BEST friends!
I need to work on my whine.
And get some new friends!!!!
Seriously though, fabulous fabrics, I can't wait to see the tree skirt. I realized the other day I better start thinking about Christmas otherwise nothing will get made in time.
And I LOVE THE COW!!!! How could you not? It's totally adorable. Moo point. Hee hee, I remember that episode.
LOVE the fabrics and I just bought that magazine too. Love everything in it too.
You are most welcome, Krista, and thank you for those lovely words.-)
Too TOO CUTE!!! Nina-Lise is very talented and obviously has a great sense of humour. How lucky are you to have such a nice friend?! I looked at the tree skirt and have one word to say about it...YUMMMMMM!!!
Your mini quilt is gorgeous! I too saw it on Nina Lise's lovely blog.
Thanks for visiting my blog and for your lovely comments too x
Precioso quilt!!!
Gaby
your little cow is way too cute. I love him (or her...) ;)
I have seen Diane's trunk show at the Abbotsford Quilting Guild last year. What amazing quilting history she has. I'm going to have to head to Chapters tomorrow and get a mag. Congrats on the article. Well done you!
