Real Estate Investment

If you are visiting in search of fabulous give away prizes, just keep reading. It's the next post down.

We got a new house! Look what arrived today:

House mini for me - by Nanotchka

Poor Nannette, she had to wait ages for me to receive it. It took 15 days to come from Salt Lake City to me, while the Birdhouse Fence I sent off to her only took about a week. There's no rhyme or reason to the post at Christmas time!

Mini QT house swap for me - by Nanotchka

Nannette sent along some sweet extras - a scrap bag of Lizzie Dish (that I think will go immediately into a potholder for an urgent Christmas gift required on Saturday night!) as well as a card featuring one of her trademark beautiful 'frilly' birds. I'm going to frame it for my sewing room. The package also included a chenille pin cushion!

So, that's the last swap of 2010 all wrapped up. I still owe a doll quilt and a mini or two in some casual (thanks for keepin' it real girls) private swaps.

I managed to finally make myself a table runner for the holiday dining table. It's not too Christmassy, so it will get lots of use. It's a modern and slightly minimalist version of my Crop Circles Table Runner (tutorial in my sidebar). I'll show it to you tomorrow. It's really hard to get a good photo of a long skinny table runner on a grey, rainy day.....

Sigh. I love houses. And every time I try to make one it looks like a house that Jack built. I have no idea what I do but I wish mine ended up looking like that one! blessings, marlene

Love the house. I could live with those critters, as opposed to the cockroaches I come across every so often in ours - eeuuww!!!! I love swaps and hope to get involved in some bloggy ones next year now that I think I am getting the idea of them. Ciao

Cute, cute house, but I'm glad I don't live there. Too many critters would make me sneeze. LOL
