It's a bird...it's a plane....it's

No wait...it's a little oinker!

Rrrrmmm, Rrrrmmm, the Monster Trucks have arrived!

PNE Parade 2010

What's all this about, you ask? Vancouver's Pacific National Exhibition is celebrating 100 years of cotton candy, sicky rides, pig races, mini-donuts and FUN! See, here's the cake:

PNE Parade 2010

But what we've really come for is this little star of the parade.

D unicycles in PNE Parade

I'm off to the fair today with 4 kids and a wallet full of cash. I am going to try really hard not to eat too many mini donuts...but it's only once a year, right?

On another note...have you notice all of the GO! cutters popping up in blogland recently? The Accuquilt people are incredibly generous. They've sent their new home-use cutters to lots of great bloggers for review and tutorials, PLUS they've sent a second one for them to giveaway! Check out Paulette's blog for your chance to win your very own GO!

We've got 2 more weeks of summer packed with school supply shopping, a long weekend on a sweet island, exciting sewing deadlines and play dates. I probably won't make it back here until school starts up and I can get my bearings again.....so until then, sew on!

OK, I think Creamie would seriously die and be in heaven if she saw those huge balloons. I guess as her loving mother that means that I really should take her to a parade. Man, I hate parades. But she would LOVE it!

Also, your daughter is adorable on the unicycle! Love it.

I love a parade especially when someone I know is parading!!! Nice photo Devon!! Have fun at the fair and enjoy those mini donuts cause there is no taste like the taste of "fair" food and no better way to see it than with enthusiastic kids :-). Enjoy buccaneer and the final days of summer holidays!!

can I say -- as an ex-teacher/will probably be a teacher again someday -- it is a joy to see girls of your daughter's age thriving.

I bet she's got a great mom.

(probably a good dad too) ;)

Oh my goodness...not only can she ride a unicycle, but she can wave while doing so and not fall off! Amazing!
